Guangzhou Haiyue Hotel, Guangzhou

The hotel offers a very complete room with a tea set, towels, soap, shampoo, and a TV, but it was very small with hardly any space on the table to balance my computer. However, the service was mixed; staff were not well-informed about nearby restaurants, but they were very helpful and courteous in general. The location is strategic, being very close to the fair but lacking a quiet place to relax in the evening. The dining options were varied with Chinese and western restaurants for breakfast, yet the overall dining experience was not impressive. The facilities were decent, offering services like room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry.

The hotel's location is relatively close to Chigang Station, making it convenient for travelers who need easy access to public transportation. The rooms have a musty smell when you first walk in and lack cleanliness, which can be a significant downside for guests.
